THE JOURNEY CONTINUES
Over three hundred people have signed up The New Testament Challenge. If you are reading through these 50 passages, let me encourage you to e-mail or mail me your insights, blessings and questions. I’d love for you to share what God is saying to you and how He is blessing you through His Word.
If you have not started, it’s not too late to join us. Just start with next weeks reading - #61. We’ll continue with the third week of readings this Monday, February 6.
2/06 #61 Feeding the Five Thousand, Luke 9:1-36
2/07 #62 Walking on Water Matthew, 14:22-36
2/08 #63 Healing a Blind Man, John 9:1-41
2/09 #64 Healing Demon Possessed Man, Mark 5
2/10 #65 Raising Lazarus, John 11:1-57
If you’ve not done so yet, pick up a bookmark and a Daily Planner this Sunday in the foyer.
SPORTS COURT UPDATE
We are planning in the next two weeks to have a Sunday morning dedication for our first major project of Faith for the Future . . . a multi-purpose sports court. Sports ministry can be a great way to reach all ages. This court will have two basketball goals and will be equipped for volleyball, soccer and paddle ball.
OVERVIEW OF THE NEW TESTAMENT
I’ll be continuing a six part overview of the New Testament on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. through the middle of March. This will complement our NT Challenge and give you a great picture of the authors, types of literature and key truths of the New Testament.
It’s an honor to serve as your pastor.
In Christ Alone,
Pastor Jim
