MISSION IRVING
God’s mission and the mission of the church are inextricably connected. God’s mission is clearly to bring glory to his name through the redemption and reconciliation of all peoples. Therefore, the mission of the church must be to glorify God through redemption and reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5 highlights the mission of the church, those whom God reconciled to himself through the gospel of Jesus Christ, to be ambassadors of reconciliation to the world. Practically, the church pleads, prays, preaches, persuades, teaches, implores, and reasons for the purpose of glorifying God through the ministry of reconciliation. This Spring Break be part of MISSION IRVING as we continue to the ministry of reconciliation in our city for God’s glory, our joy, and the good of others!
