"F.A.Q." Part 1: Questions Kids Ask

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training

in righteousness,  II Tim. 3:16 

 

I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will

never enter it."   Mark 10:15

 

1. Creation?  “How was God created?”  -- Alexis  “Why are people God’s best creation?” “Who created Satan?” “Why did God make mosquitoes?”  

 

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.   . .. 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.   Genesis 1:1-2; 27.

 

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning.  John 1:1-2

 

Four Quick Ones:

 

  • “What do you do all day?”

2.  Heaven? “Is heaven real?”  “What will heaven be like?” "Will there be animals in heaven?” – Jillian  “Why can’t we all go to heaven?” - Trae

 

3And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. …  4He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."  5He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!"  Rev. 21:3-5a

 

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.  John 1:12 

 

 

3.  Prayers?  “Do we still have to thank God if we don’t like the food?”  “How can we know if God answers our prayers?” “Does everything really happen for a reason?” 

 

 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.  I Thess. 5:18  KJV

 

 I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer.   Psalm 120:1  NLT

 

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.  Romans 8:28 NLT
