Little Hearts is a 2 day a week Preschool for 2-year-olds through Prekindergarten. Our goal is to help each child develop into his/her full potential spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially. The curriculum is based on achieving this goal and is designed to provide a creative learning experience that teaches Christian principles.

Our curriculum includes Numbers, Reading Readiness, Bible, art, music, social studies, library, and P.E. Through these the children are introduced to basic colors, numbers, and reading readiness. It also focuses on eight units of learning:

2. Me and My Family
3. I Am Thankful
4. Giving

5. Community Helpers
6. Helping
7. Sharing
8. Discovering My World

 

 

About Us

Little Hearts School has been serving families since 1974. We began as a one day a week program, Thursday School. Over the years, it grew into a 2 two day a week preschool that offers curriculum for the hearts, minds, and bodies of many little ones.

Our school begun with the community in mind. Being an outreach to families that need and desire a safe, loving, and godly place to help grow their children has always been the goal of Little Hearts School.

 

 

Admission

Registration is ongoing throughout the school year. In order to enroll your child, we require a registration form and an up-to-date copy of their immunization record. These forms plus a non-refundable registration fee of $135 must be turned into Little Hearts to complete registration. When an age group has reached it maximum enrollment, then a waiting list will be established. Individuals on the waiting list will be contacted on a first come basis.

 

Schedule

Classes will be conducted from September until mid-May on Tuesday and Thursdays. We base our school year on the Irving ISD calendar: however, information specific to Little Hearts will be forwarded throughout the year.

Little Hearts School operates from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We request that you bring your children no earlier than 8:55 a.m. and pick them up promptly at 2:00 p.m. There is a late charge of $2.00 for every ten minutes beginning at 2:10 p.m.

 

A monthly calendar will be sent home explaining the Bible lessons, aims, activities, etc.

Each school year we schedule an Open House in the evening so your child can show you around the school.

Parents are encouraged to participate in class holiday parties and birthday parties.
Parents are welcome to visit our school at any time
