OAK VIEW BAPTIST CHURCH HAS AN INCREDIBLE HISTORY!

In the past three years our Generation to Generation campaign raised over $58,000 for World Missions, funded badly needed facility upgrades across our campus and significantly reduced theprinciple of our construction debt. There is no way Oak View can make this kind of forward ministryprogress without these powerful mission and capital initiatives that gather offerings over and aboveour regular giving.  That’s why I am so excited about our next mission and capital initiative:TRANSFORMING TOMORROW: 2025-2028

WHAT WILL OAK VIEW “TRANSFORMING TOMORROW” FOCUS ON? 

10% - CHANGING THE WORLD THROUGH MISSIONSYour initial offering and 3-year (2026-2028) commitment to Transforming Tomorrow will providemuch needed funds to support missionaries to share the Gospel and provide humanitarian & disasterrelief around the world. Ten percent of the initial offerings and pledges will be used to fund our 2025World Mission Offering. 

45% - ENHANCING OUR CAMPUS FOR MINISTRYOur campus is where people daily connect with Christ through soul-lifting worship and life-changingcommunity. Transforming Tomorrow will make our spaces even more effective for ministry—throughenhanced campus security, campus-wide Wi-Fi, refreshed Preschool and Student areas, lighting andsound improvements, new HVAC systems, a baptistry upgrade, additional signage, and more.Together, we’re shaping a campus that better serves our mission and strengthens every opportunityto connect people to Christ.

45% - RELEASING RESOURCES FOR FUTURE MINISTRYOak View has faithfully used past capital campaigns to reduce debt while funding ministry projects aswe go. Through our Generation to Generation campaign (2023–2025), we reduced our church’s debtto $330,000. By reaching our LEGACY GOAL of $750,000 in celebration of our 75th Anniversary, wewould completely eliminate our debt from past construction projects.  The money saved by eliminatingour debt could be used to fund future ministry.
