This past Sunday was full of very special stories.
We celebrated four baptisms including a mom, a dad
and their daughter. Each baptism represented a heart
touched by the life-changing love of Christ. Later in the
same service, two teenage girls came forward to share
their stories of how they had become Christ followers.
One girl had brought the other girl to churchy. Between
services, a member excitedly told how he used the
FLIPPED cards to invite several friends to church. I never
tire of hearing these kinds of stories.
This Sunday Ron Kurtz, our Associate Pastor, will be
preaching Part 2 of the FLIPPED series: “First is Last.”
I hope you’ll invite a friend to join you. Don’t miss the
“Christ in the Passover” presentation this Sunday,
March 14 at 6 p.m. You will be amazed at the parallels
between the Old Testament Passover and the New
Testament Lord’s Supper.
Our 60th Anniversary Celebration begins Sunday, April 11
– Homecoming/Open House a.m. worship services
and Reception 2-4 p.m.
