This Sunday is Valentine’s Day. A lot of people are not
too excited about this holiday. If you are single, there is
tremendous pressure to have a special someone. Being
alone on Valentine’s Day usually elicits a raised eyebrow
or two from well-meaning family and friends. If you are
married or in a relationship, you are bombarded with
marketing messages that blatantly equate love with
spending money. So, what should you do?
Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Oak View. If you’re single,
you’ll be among friends who will encourage you to focus
on your most important relationship – growing in Christ.
And if you are married, you will be giving your spouse a
great gift – quality time with each other that will help
renew and refresh your marriage. Week #2 of “Relation-slips”
focuses on rediscovering the keys to a healthy, satisfying
marriage and how to work through some of the dry spots
and difficulties that come in every relationship.
Happy Valentine’s Day…really!
